Description

Very good, large baryte crystals from the famous Sardinian locality. The prominent, biggest crystal is 9.3 cm high and almost 2 cm thick.

The crystals show some minor edge wear. A little crystal tip on the back - irrelevant to the prominent view - is loose. I stuck it in place with some putty, so you can decide wether to repair it permanently or leave it. Personally I'd refrain from repairing and I think it looks even better without, opeing the view on second generation crystals.

Collector Fiedler created handmade, wooden bases (very light - cork?) for his specimen. This one was pictured with its base, but that can be easily taken off.

All-in-all still a fantastic, showy specimen.
