Description

Who'd have guessed that Jachymov would be the type locality of fluorite and acanthite among many others ... So you have a double-type-locality-specimen here with a little surprise. There are tufts of acicular, bend, hairlike black crystals present. I can only guess it might be a strange form of stibnite. Nothing else listed on Mindat seems to fit. And there's this yellowish unidentified material in a corner. A specimen full of surprises ...

Comes with a very old (19th century), but torn 'argentite'-label.
