Miniature (4.5-7 cm)

Description

An old Dr. A. Krantz label from the 19th century (after 1850) accompanies this extremely rare sample of cobaltoan calcite from Schneeberg. There is also another, surely not so old French label from an unknown collection coming with the specimen.

The color is a very nice pale pink, tiny quartz crystals seem to have replaced a first generation of calcite/cobaltoan calcite. Also a little botryoidal chalcedony visible and some specks of pyrite.
