Description

One of the three best pieces of this auction with just a little different blueish-green (which I cannot reproduce exactly with my digital camera) balls of Pyro-crystals forming a lawn landscape.Nothing to turn off the eye. Only minor white spots (arguably from where the Pyro touched the other side of the crack - that's what the finder said).

Near Bleibuehe (Bleibuir), there was a small pit, about 30 or 40 meters deep, near an ancient open pit lead mine where mining ceased around 1880 -  the later sometimes called Gute Hoffnung, Bescheid. The mineralization consists of impregnations and veins of lead ore in Triassic sandstones. The small mine ceased producing in 1893 and was just recently rediscovered by a collector in April 2009. Shortly after the mine was destroyed with a bulldozer by the landowner.
