Description

Very interesting Tsumeb specimen with at least half a dozen different species. The main minerals are glossy, white opaque tarnowitzite (plumboan aragonite) crystals with yellowish (cadmian) smithsonite rosettes and a lawn of moss-green duftite. On top of the smithsonite rosettes we can see tiny green tsumebite (visual ID) crystals. One side shows nice, glossy transparent cerussite crystals with tarnowitzite and duftite. There's also a black mass i the matrix, which looks like chalcocite to me, superficially replaced by malachite. Some gray crystal material between the other minerals should be tennantite or chalcocite. Maybe the listing isn't complete ...
