Pyromorphite With Florencite

ex coll. E. Stark
New Discovery

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Annenberg, Monzelfeld, Hunsrück, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
11.5 × 6.8 × 1.8 cm
Description

Glossy moss-green pyromorphite crystals with ocher brown florencite (x-ray-analyzed) and black lithiophorite (?).
Unfortunately we forgot to have the 'lithiophorite' analyzed, but it is plausible, because it always comes with florencite at a similar locality.
Maybe the florencite was previously misidentified as oxiplumboroméite ... Otherwise we have a first find for the locality.
