Description

The mineral list on this specimen is longer than the lists of many quarries or mines. Among those a few quite rare. Pereta is type locality for coquandite and peretaite of course (the last one I don't see on this specimen). There's white to yellow acicular klebelsbergite, yellow stibiconite on stibnite and red crusts of metastibnite on stibnite. Coquandite is there in white, puffy balls of fine needles, sénarmontite in octahedral crystals and valentinite in beige crystals. Most of the rare minerals you can only admire with a good magnifying lanse or microscope. But I can guarantee quiete a journey.
