Siegerland, North Rhine - Westphalia, Germany

11.5 × 7.5 × 5 cm
Largest Crystal:
1.20cm
Description

A very rich cerussite-malachite specimen with lots of crystals all over, the main focus a cross-twinned cerussite crystal. Also the matrix is spotted with dark green malachite needles. The Siegerland area passes Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia. Mine could be Victoria or Mercur. Sometimes you get old specimen like this with just the locality 'Siegerland' given or just 'Siegen'. Some of the crystals have a ding, but all-in-all a very nice historic specimen.
