Extremely rare brilliant white aggregates of this mythical mineral The name sterlinghillite come from Sterling Hill : the famous locality sister of Franklin The mineral is found in the year 1980 and are known few verified specimens all from the type locality. After the 1980 there aren't new certain found (Matsubara et al. (2000) suggest that formula contains only 3 H2O. ) Now after 35 years there are a new verified occorrence : the Monte Nero mine (also in this locality there are found few specimens). very rich
