Description

Gorgeous specimen of highly lustrous translucent to gemmy vesuvianite crystals, up to 2.5 cm in size, associated with highly lustrous translucent to gemmy prismatic diopside crystals up to 1.7 cm wide.  This beautiful specimen displays most of the colours of vesuvianite observed at this locality, from dark green to dark purple.  Very difficult to render the quality of the specimen in photographs.  Some of the diopside crystals are damaged.
