Description

Uncommon gorgeous type locality specimen of monteregianite-(Y) crystals associated with arfvedsonite, calcite, epididymite, ancylite-(Ce) and white needles of an unidentified species.  This specimen is very rich in epididymite, ancylite-(Ce) and white needles of an unidentified species.  The Poudrette Quarry is the only locality where monteregianite-(Y) is found.  Collected by Gilles Haineault in 1993.
