Description

Tiny red to orange-red crystals and crystalline masses of martyite associated with some lustrous platy orange magnesiopascoite. Type Locality for both species. Martyite, a very rare zinc-vanadate, and magnesiopascoite, a calcium-magnesium-vanadate, were both discovered by american field-collector Joe Marty. This analyzed sample comes with a signed label of the discoverer.
