Description

A very rare locality specimen, this beautiful malachite sample comes from the ancient Lichtenberg Copper mines in the Franconian Forest, Bavaria, Germany.

The specimen has a rich coverage of silky green malachite sprays on typical matrix and went into the collection of Al Kidwell in 1961 labeled as "tyrolite".
