Description

The rarest and most unusual specimen in this auction comes from the Shinkolobwe Mine and has lustrous grey crystalline masses of siegenite in a matrix of blue calcite and white magnesite.
The blue colour of the calcite is due to Scandium impurities, collected between 1965 and 1970. Ex Gilbert Leruit collection.
