Description

Curite, a rare lead-uranyl-hydroxide, was named after French physicist Pierre Curie (1859-1906). This small but very good specimen from the Type Locality has a very rich coverage of lustrous bright orange acicular curite crystals on matrix. Beautiful under magnification.
