Description

A very good azurite sample from the Tynagh Mine near Killimore, one of the most famous classic Irish localities.
The specimen has a very rich coverage of small, lustrous, bright blue azurite crystals in a large cavity on the front of the sample, the backside has several smaller cavities.
Collected in the early 1970's.
Two other specimens, cerussite and chalcocite, from this locality are also included in this auction.
