Description

A small sample of vandendriesscheite, a very rare lead-uranyl-hydroxide named after Adrien Vandendriessche (1914-1940), Professor of geology and mineralogy at the University of Ghent, Belgium. This sample has lots of tiny, well-formed, dark orange crystals of vandendriesscheite on the matrix associated with some yellow schoepite. Ex Francois Coune collection.
