Description

Niedermayrite, are very rare cadmium-copper-sulfate was named for Austrian mineralogist Gerhard Niedermayr in 1997. Only found at four localities worldwide, three small finds in Greece (including at the Type Locality) and one in Utah, USA. This excellent and rich specimen has many groups of bright green-blue niedermayrite crystals on matrix. Beautiful under magnification.
