Abernathyite, a rare potassium-uranyl-arsenate, was named after amateur-mineralogist Jesse Abernathy (1913-1963). This typical sample from Rivieral has a good coverage of small clusters with pale yellow abernathyite crystals with a heart of green heinrichite.
