Description

A very good sample from the Segen Gottes Mine near Wiesloch, one of the great classic localities for beautiful schalenblende.
The specimen has a rich coverage of dark grey masses of gratonite, an uncommon lead-arsenic-sulfide, associated with light lead-grey octahedral galena crystals in a schalenblende matrix.
Cut and polished on one side.
A rare and colourfull specimen collected in the 1960's.
