Description

The rare lead-uranyl-hydroxide masuyite was named after the Belgian geologist Gustave Masuy (1905-1945). The bright orange to reddish orange masuyite on this specimen forms crystalline masses on an uraninite rich matrix and is associated with some bright yellow masses of sklodowskite.
