Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Lubin Mine, Gmina Lubin, Lubin County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6 × 3.7 × 3.2 cm
Description

Unusually crystalized and mint colored halite stalactite with atacamite. The crystals are interlaced, with a mint colored thread along the stalactite. The faces show a very lustrous square structure. The stalactite are bent in both directions. The specimen appears very cold due to the mint colored cover of the halite. Very aesthetic piece - hard to catch in a photo and much better in person. Seen from the right side, the piece is reminiscent of a raised hand with its fingers.
