Weißeck Area, Murwinkel, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)

10 × 7 × 4.2 cm
Description

In this piece, the fluorites have grown together so intensively that individual cubes can no longer be recognized. Only in the outer areas is it possible to discern individual cubes. The crystal surfaces, which are slightly curved inward, have a square texture and show a good gloss. The first two millimeters of the crystal are colorless, below that is a violet zoning, which gives the crystal its color. You can read the report about this find on my homepage.
