The magnesite repository in Sunk/Hohentauern is famous for its large, whitish and transparent dolomite crystals. The displayed specimen is crystallized as floater piece. The crystal is transparent to the edges. The faces show good gloss and fine striation. An impressive specimen from this location, undamaged and hard to capture its beauty on a photograph!
