The fluorite from Weisseck comes from the summer of 2022 and is one of the best finds I've made. These pieces are generally glassier, more colorful and much more plastic than Summit Cleft's well-known pieces and raise the bar for good Weisseck Fluorites! Unfortunately it is almost impossible to show the exceptional quality in the photos and only partially reflects the quality of these pieces. The pieces show their true beauty in person.

Despite its intense colors, this fluorite is very transparent - almost glassy. The crystal shows an intense violet color on the outside and a blue to cyan color on the inside. With LED backlight, the blue color changes to a very nice intense cyan color. And it is precisely the play of colors of violet on the outside and the intense cyan-blue that make the fluorite so special! This colored zoning causes the fluorite to change color as the piece is moved. The fluorite cube measures exactly 5.2 cm on the edge. The crystal surfaces show a fine square texture with a silky luster due to water etching. The piece is etched or crystallized all around - no new fresh damage. The fluorite is aesthetically grown on a thin quartz plate with small quartz crystals. First, second, fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth photo with lower LED backlit.
