Description

The Summit Cleft has supplied many beautiful fluorites and has been known for the beautiful transparency of fluorites. Fluorite with quartz crystals is one of the rarities of the Summit Cleft. The quartz is hard to find and often does not grow on the fluorite. If you find such a rare piece it is mostly destroyed by the frost and the different expansion of the minerals. These rare specimens are found in small pockets protected from water. These pockets are very small and produce very few pieces, sometimes only one piece is in it.

This piece has grown as a floater. Small quartz crystals stand free next to the fluorites or have grown in the fluorites. In the hole in the middle of the sample, the quartz crystals have grown especially nicely! The fluorite shows a glossy surface. Within the fluorite there are several colors of zoning along their edges. A perfect cluster of fluorite with quartz crystals of brilliant aesthetics and quality! Undamaged floater specimen!
