Description

This specimen comes from an older find in the Lungau. It consists of massive quartz which forms cavities in the front area. In the cavities, rutile is crystallized in large quantities. The crystals show a metallic luster and are partially terminated. The specimen stands in the displayed position without support. A really impressive alpine rutile specimen!
