Description

Lustrous metallic golden chalcopyrite in combination with small high-gloss pyrite and tiny, snowy white quartz crystals. The specimen comes from a famous historic locality. The mining history goes back about 2,000 years. Today it is prohibited to dig there, the area is a national park. The specimen is from an old local collection. Fine assembly, good contrast, well crystallized on both sides!
