Slightly translucent red-brown andradite crystals, sharp-edged with a dark zoning along their edges. The contrast to the dark green hedenbergite matrix make the specimen very impressive. An old found from Serifos, a place where it is forbidden to dig for this mineral since some years and where no new finds are to be expected. A superb piece of perfect aesthetics and quality!
