Description

Lustrous chalcopyrite in metallic iridescent patina with violet, red and blue shades in combination with small high-gloss pyrite and tiny, snowy white quartz crystals from this famous historic locality. The mining history goes back about 2,000 years. Today it is prohibited to dig there, the area is a national park. The specimen is from an old local collection. Fine assembly, good contrast, undamaged!
