Description

A bright grass green well-formed pargasite crystal to 1.5 cm set in pure white marble matrix. Pargasite is an uncommon member of the amphibole group, and an unusually colorful one, at that. The 1.6 x 0.7 cm crystal, reasonably large for the species, has lustrous faces, it is gemmy and very translucent with an intense green color.
