Description

Red-brown andradite crystals, sharp-edged with a dark zoning along their edges. The andratite crystal are partially covered with bright quartz. Black hematite crystals offer an additional contrast in color and make the specimen very impressive. An old found from Serifos, a place where it is forbidden to dig for this mineral since some years and where no new finds are to be expected.
