Description

This beautiful fluorite comes from an old find from the “Bergmännisch Glück Mine.” At first glance the fluorite seems a bit dark however the backliting shows its real beauty its true fire: an yellow/orange core which is surrounded by yellow and violet zonings along the edges. The colorful zonings can also been seen with daylight as backlit. The faces show a square structure with small cavities where small chalcopyrites have grown in the earliest time. And as you can see there are some individual dark chalcopyrites on the faces of the fluorites too. The back is finely healed, because the specimen has already fallen from the rock early on. First and third photo with lower LED light as backlit. No significant damage to report. A superb piece of perfect aesthetics!
