Fluorite

Floater

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Weißeck Area, Murwinkel, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria
Class:
Single Crystal
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
8 × 5.5 × 5.3 cm
Description

A typical specimen from the famous summit-cleft. The color is dark, but with backlit it shows an amazing violet color. Many specimen need strong backlit, but not so here. The clarity of this particular sample is high, so only light background light would be enough to show internal color. All sides are crystallized, skeletonized or healed (no fresh fractures). It is a great experience to look at this specimen with backlit from daylight or LED spots! First, third, fourth and sixth photo with lower LED backlit, much better in real life!
