Description

Many people know the fluorite from the famous Summit Cleft of Weisseck. However, this specimen is very rare: Skeletal Fluorite (You can read the exact report on our website).

Fluorite with great color and zoning. The fluorite comes from a small pocket in the 3rd cavern. Skeletonized fluorite with almost solute surfaces, intense zoning (green, cyan, blue and even intense violet, nearly purple) and etch cracks. All sides are crystallized, skeletonized or healed (no fresh fractures). It is a great experience to look at this specimen with backlit from daylight or LED spots! All photos with LED backlit, much better in person! You also get the report about the skeletonized fluorite from our website with the photo of the piece on the first page.
