Description

This is a large, single mercenaria clam on a dark gray micritic limestone matrix, with golden yellow calcite crystals. The calcite is fluorescent blue-green under shortwave and longwave UV light. Very aestetic specimen, lustrous and perfectly crystallized with three-dimensional construction. No significant damages to report.
