Description

Violet octahedral fluorite partially covered with small quartz crystals. The fluorites shows a light zoning along edges, the faces are mat shiny. This is an old found from the 80s from the slopes below the Stampfl glacier (2700 meter above sea level). The locality is exhausted, there will be no more founds. Very rare color from this location, usually the color is green. Should be highly ranked for it´s rarity. No visible damage to report, the backside was extracted from the rock. The specimen stands without any help.
