Description

Individual exposed fluorite cubes on dolomite as perimorphose after calcite (pseudomorphose). The fluorites show a light yellow center with multiple thin blue zonings along the edges. The surfaces of the fluorites are matt shiny. The dolomite perimorphose is unique from the mining area at Frohnau (Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany). In addition one should mention that the piece comes from a unique fluorite find of this locality (alter Bäuerin Schacht, Bierschnabelsohle, Bäuerin Stehender): No fluorite was found there before. The wonderful piece should be highly ranked because of its rarity!
