Description

In this sintered fluorite, the sinter is snow-white. The parqueted structure is still recognizable through the sinter. The fluorite reaches an edge length of 4.7 cm. Despite the sinter, the fluorite is transparent and when backlit reveals its beautiful play of colors. Viewed from the side, the fluorite shows very intense colors with beautiful etched structures. First, second, fourth, and fifth photo with medium LED backlight. This find is published in The Mineralogical Record - Mineral Magazine Vol.54 No.6.2. On my homepage you will find a detailed report also with videos from this find. Very rare, only a handful of the sintered fluorites were found!
