An original manganese nodule from the deep Pacific Ocean. The specimen was revovered 1978 from 5000 m depth.
This quite large nodule is not complete all around, but in this case you can see the core of the nodule, which is a beautiful shark tooth.

The tooth has a size of  3 x 2,5 x 0,7 cm   and is most likely an upper front tooth from a great white shark ( Carcharodon carcharias ).

A superb and very rare specimen.
