Description

Pyrite in nodule of black marl.One of the rare crystals of pyrite found in Alpes.
From a little area near the lake of Serre-Ponçon, in Hautes-Alpes.
One of the best, very bright.
Prepared with HCl and needles. Sometime, one or two faces of octaedre are developed, and the crystal seems broken, but not.
Slightly cut under for display.No damage.
