Description

Pleasant specimen with fine presentation.Pyrite in nodule of black marl.One of the rare crystals of pyrite found in Alpes.
From a little area near the lake of Serre-Ponçon, in Hautes-Alpes.
Prepared with HCl and needles. Sometimes, one or two faces of octahedron are developed, and the crystal seems broken, but not.
Slightly cut under for display.No damage.
