Description

You are bidding on a small sample with rich clusters of clove brown, fibrous gageite crystals completely covering matrix. There are also clusters of more pinkish-brown, gemmy gageite crystals and a small cluster of chlorophoenicite blades on one edge of the sample. Rich piece! 

This specimen is from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District micromounts and rarities curated by Vandall King, and features specimens from a multitude of well-known collectors of the locality including Alice Kraissl, Russ DeRoo, Dave Cook, Van King and others. Many of these samples may be featured in photos in the upcoming three volume series of books being compiled by Vandall King.
