Description

You are bidding on a small sample with some nice clusters of allactite blades on matrix. The highlight here however are the clusters of dark red kraisslite crystals made up of tiny hexagonal crystals. There are also some small white dodecahedra of fluorite on the sample.

This specimen is from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District micromounts and rarities curated by Vandall King, and features specimens from a multitude of well-known collectors of the locality including Alice Kraissl, Russ DeRoo, Dave Cook, Van King and others. Many of these samples may be featured in photos in the upcoming three volume series of books being compiled by Vandall King.
