You are bidding on a small sample with dozens of perfect, sharp and very transparent cahnite crystals on black octahedra of hetaerolite from the famous find made by Alice Kraissl. This specimen is originally from her collection and still mounted in her box with label. World class micro of this mineral and the last and best I will offer from this collection! 

This specimen is from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District micromounts and rarities curated by Vandall King, and features specimens from a multitude of well-known collectors of the locality including Alice Kraissl, Russ DeRoo, Dave Cook, Van King and others. Many of these samples may be featured in photos in the upcoming three volume series of books being compiled by Vandall King.
