You are bidding on a small sample with exceptional and quite large, blood red crystals of hancockite with crystals of axinite-Mn. A really high quality sample of this mineral from the Alice Kraissl collection originally. 

This specimen is from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District micromounts and rarities curated by Vandall King, and features specimens from a multitude of well-known collectors of the locality including Alice Kraissl, Russ DeRoo, Dave Cook, Van King and others. Many of these samples may be featured in photos in the upcoming three volume series of books being compiled by Vandall King.
