Description

You are bidding on a small sample from the Phillips collection with large, bladed prisms of chlorophoenicite in zincite cavitites with needles of pale purple gageite that are impaling tiny crystals of hodgkinsonite. Rich sample from the Don Cook collection originally. Classic and rare material from Franklin. 

This specimen is from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District micromounts and rarities curated by Vandall King, and features specimens from a multitude of well-known collectors of the locality including Alice Kraissl, Russ DeRoo, Dave Cook, Van King and others. Many of these samples may be featured in photos in the upcoming three volume series of books being compiled by Vandall King.
