Description

You are bidding on a small sample with a vug of exceptional and extremely rare pale purplish-grey glaucochroite crystals. Glaucochroite is one of the most difficult of the district's type species to get free-growing crystals of, and few samples exist of this quality. Ex. Russ DeRoo collection. 

This specimen is from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District micromounts and rarities curated by Vandall King, and features specimens from a multitude of well-known collectors of the locality including Alice Kraissl, Russ DeRoo, Dave Cook, Van King and others. Many of these samples may be featured in photos in the upcoming three volume series of books being compiled by Vandall King.
