Description

You are bidding on a small but exceptionally rare oddity from Franklin with a single, rough crystal of beige johnbaumite hosting a dark brown, translucent crystal of hydroxycalcioromeite. From the Alice Kraissl and Van King collections and analyzed by Pete Dunn. 

This specimen is from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District micromounts and rarities curated by Vandall King, and features specimens from a multitude of well-known collectors of the locality including Alice Kraissl, Russ DeRoo, Dave Cook, Van King and others. Many of these samples may be featured in photos in the upcoming three volume series of books being compiled by Vandall King.
