You are bidding on a small sample with a very nice group of tennantite group crystals on an amphibole from Sterling Hill. This is an extremely rare occurence for the locality! 

This specimen is from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District micromounts and rarities curated by Vandall King, and features specimens from a multitude of well-known collectors of the locality including Alice Kraissl, Russ DeRoo, Dave Cook, Van King and others. Many of these samples may be featured in photos in the upcoming three volume series of books being compiled by Vandall King.
